Director SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion took an unprecedented opening when it released on April 28 across the globe.

The film was out in about 9,000 screens worldwide and around 6,500 screens in India alone.

According to latest reports, the makers of the film are planning to dub Baahubali 2 in Japanese.

This is the first international language in which the film will be dubbed and sources say that plans are on to have it dubbed in other foreign languages as well.

Japan has a strong fan base for Indian films and the makers of Baahubali are trying to cash in on it.

According to some reports, it may be dubbed in Cantonese or Mandarin as well.

It may be mentioned here that Rajinikanth’s Muthu was released in Japan several years ago and there has been a good response for Indian films in that country since then.

Rajinikanth also has some dedicated Japanese fans who travel all the way to Chennai to attend the 'first day first show' of all his new releases.

Baahubali: The Conclusion, made on a budget of over Rs. 250 crore, grossed Rs. 100 crore on the day of its release.

The film’s pre-release business alone amounted to Rs. 500 crore, according to trade analysts.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali 2 has Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tammannah, Ramya Krishnan, and Sathyaraj in the lead roles.

It is the first Indian film to be made and released in the 4K High Definition format.

The epic drama, which has been penned by KV Vijayendra Prasad, has music by MM Keeravani.

Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner Arka Media Works, the film’s cinematography was handled by KK Senthil Kumar and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
