Kajal Agarwal’s 50th film Nene Raju Nene Mantri will soon be hitting the screens. While it was the film’s hero Rana Daggubati hogging the limelight in the first teaser that was released some time ago, the second teaser was cut specially for its female lead Kajal Agarwal. The filmmakers decided to go ahead with a Kajal Agarwal special teaser and this was released recently. Being the actor’s 50th film, the special teaser was cut to commemorate her.

Kajal Agarwal’s character in the film is called Radha Jogendra while Rana will be known as Raju Jogendra. Teja has directed this film which is touted to be a political thriller. Other than Rana and Kajal in the lead roles, the film also has Catherine Tresa and Navdeep essaying important roles.

Presented by D Suresh Babu and produced by Kiran Reddy and Bharath Chowdary under the banners Suresh Productions and Blue Planet Entertainments, the film will be distributed by Suresh Productions. Anoop Rubens has composed music for this film with Venkat C. Dileep wielding the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao making the cuts at the editing table.

Rana Daggubati has had a very successful year so far. He opened the account at the box office this year with the trilingual, The Ghazi Attack. The star then topped it up with Baahubali: The Conclusion which went on to break quite a few box office records.

With the star enjoying a wide popularity across India following his role Bhallaladeva in Baahubali, expectations are rife over his next. Nene Raju Nene Mantri is likely to hit the silver screens very soon. The filmmakers are currently busy with the film’s progress and are working on its release date.

Rana also has a couple of other projects, including Madai Thiranthu and Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta.
