
Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday slammed Air India after a delayed flight caused him to miss an important appointment.
In a series of tweets, the minister said that he was to board the flight from Hyderabad, and was informed that the pilot was running late. After the boarding did not start despite a prolonged wait, he returned home.
I had to travel to Hyderabad by Air India AI544 which is to depart at 1315 Hrs... was told on time.. reached airport by 1230 Hrs. 1/

Air India later responded to him saying that the pilot was stuck in a traffic jam due to which he could reach the airport on time.
