However, after his wife became pregnant, not one person from either of the families visited the couple for the bangle-wearing ceremony, reported The New Indian Express.Unable to bear the rejection, Sathya hung herself with a saree. Finding his wife hanging, her husband too ended his life using the same saree, said the report. The suicide was discovered when Divakaran's brother Daniel felt something amiss when he didn't respond to his phone calls.
