Shooting commenced for Simbu’s upcoming film “Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan” on Saturday amidst high fan expectations. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film is said to be an action entertainer with plenty of scope for STR to perform.

Simbu has said the script of “Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan” is on the lines of his 2004 film “Manmadhan”.  He is reportedly playing a triple role in the film, playing the role of father and son in two of these roles. One of three characters – Anbanavan, Asaradhavan and Adangadhavan will have a negative shade.

Three female leads will be cast opposite Simbu with Shirya Saran all set to make her comeback in Kollywood. The other actors have not yet been finalised.

According to sources major portions of the film will be shot in Mysore and Kerala. VTV Ganesh who shares a great chemistry with STR has been roped in for an important role and Mahat who was last seen in “Jilla” is also in the film.

Meanwhile, speculation is rife that Simbu has put Gautham Menon's  “Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada” on hold after the actor's remuneration wasn't settled. In an interview to a Tamil magazine, Menon said the hit song “Thalli Pogathey” was scheduled to be shot in Turkey but Simbu failed to turn up.  Simbu was reportedly unhappy with Gautham Menon’s idea of clubbing the shoot of “Thalli Pogathey” number with Dhanush’s “Enai Nokki Paayum Thota” in Turkey.

In an interview to Deccan Chronicle, the director revealed that "All will be well and sorted out with the actor. We are hoping to settle the money and get him to finish work. And I didn’t think he would have a problem of clubbing the shoot. Friends normally don’t have a problem.”
