The shooting of Sye Raa has been finally completed and has gone into the post-production mode. Confirming it, cinematographer Rathnavelu tweeted, “Sye Raa shooting completed !!Thanx to each n every member of Team Sye Raa for their hard work n cooperation. A memorable journey indeed!! Movie has shaped out extremely well. Kick started the DI too.”

Sye Raa, which has Chiru in the titular role, is being bankrolled by Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crore. It has a bevy of stars from different film industries including Amitabh Bachchan who will be seen making a guest appearance as Gosayi Venkanna. Apparently, he plays Uyyalalwada Narasimha’s mentor in the film.

Others in the star cast include Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmaji. R. Rathnavelu is the cameraman for this film, with A Sreekar Prasad editing it and Amit Trivedi wielding the music baton. It is a trilingual that will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

The filmmakers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that they give quality output to the audience and therefore are working on it meticulously. While there are reports that the film will be a Dusshera release this year, sources in the know say that the release date could be postponed if the post-production work is not completed.

With the shooting of Sye Raa wrapped up, reports of Chiranjeevi’s next have surfaced. The megastar will be working with director Koratala Siva and this project is taking shape. While some top names like Anushka and Tammannah are the strong contenders for the female lead, we hear that Koratala Siva is keen on roping in Kiara Advani. The young actor shares a good rapport with director Koratala Siva after working with him in the Mahesh Babu starrer Bharat Ane Nenu. However, we need to wait for an official announcement on this.
