Actor Shivaraj Kumar’s family allayed fears over his health, after the Century Star was admitted to hospital on Tuesday morning.

Shivraj Kumar (54) was admitted to Mallya Hospital after he complained of uneasiness and chest pain while exercising on Tuesday morning.

It is rumoured that he suffered a heart attaack, but his family has asked people to refrain from speculating. Speaking to the media in the afternoon, film producer and Shivrajkumar’s younger brother Raghavendra Rajkumar told the media that “Shivanna was fine” and added that an ECG and angiogram were done as routine procedure.

Later in the day, the actor dressed in a hospital gown came near the window and waved to scores of fans who had gathered outside the hospital. A steady stream of visitors including VIPS and others from the film fraternity came to the hospital.

Though initial reports suggested that the actor had suffered a heart attack, the family asked people to stop speculating. Doctors said that the Century Star does not have any heart problem and that they will conduct more tests and keep him in observation for one or two days. He will resume shooting once he is discharged. Shivrajkumar has reportedly been asked to make lifestyle changes and also improve his food habits.
