Shiva Rajkumar, the superstar in Sandalwood, is currently busy with a slew of acting assignments and also runs a production house. Recently, the star produced a television series through his production house which was telecast on a popular satellite channel and it turned out to be a big hit.

Now, Shivanna will be diversifying into web series, which is the latest trend worldwide. Web series have gained immense popularity; thanks to the internet and the star’s production house will be collaborating with Sakkath Studios headed by RJ Pradeepa to produce one. This web series will be shot abroad and therefore be made on a large budget. According to reports, Shiva Rajkumar’s daughter will be overseeing the arrangements for this web series. On the actors to be roped in, we hear that popular film and TV actors will be hopping on board. More details about the web series, including its director, lead stars, and other cast and crew will be revealed soon.

Shiva Rajumar’s first film release this year was Tagaru, which was released on February 23rd. The film, directed by Duniya Soori, was made on a budget of Rs. 8 crores and collected Rs. 75 crores at the box office.

The star’s The Villain, a high budget multi starrer, which also has Kiccha Sudeep sharing the screen space with him, is currently into the post production mode. The film, directed by Prem, will mark Amy Jackson’s debut in the Kannada film industry. Srikanth and Bollywood star Mithun Chakraborthy are also in the star cast of The Villain which is scheduled for release this year. This action entertainer is being produced by CR Manohar under his banner Tanvi Shanvi Films.

Shivanna is currently busy on the sets of Kavacha, which is being directed by GVR Vasu. The film is slated to hit the marquee later this year, most probably in December.
