The News Minute | December 17, 2014 | 09:32 am IST Seven women teachers have accused their school headmaster of sexually harassing them in a petition to the Madras High Court. All the women working as Bachelor of Teaching Assistants blamed their MK Beemkumar for sexually harassing them after he took over as the headmaster in 2012, reported Deccan Chronicle. However, without support from others in the school , the teachers did not bring up the harassment. It was only when the headmaster became abusive, both physically and verbally, that the teachers discussed the issue amongst themselves, said the report. The teachers approached the Chief Education Officer. However, she refused to write down a complaint saying that she would talk to the headmaster. But when the local panchayat president complained against him, they were assured that he would be transferred.
