There are various reasons for movie buffs to expect the release of the Prabhas starrer Saaho but the filmmakers have not yet divulged the exact date of release. The shooting for the film is in progress and reports say that it has reached the final stages and is most likely to be wrapped up early next year. What makes Saaho the most anticipated movie besides its huge budget is that it happens to be Prabhas’ first film after the astounding success of Baahubali.

An update about Saaho has been doing the rounds lately and it is regarding the film’s satellite rights. Sources say that a leading television channel is in the fray and is most likely to shell out a whopping Rs 70 crore to bag the rights. Interestingly, Saaho is being made in Telugu and will be dubbed in Hindi and Tamil as well. Going by reports, it appears that the satellite rights deal will include all the three languages.

Saaho, directed by Sujeeth, is bankrolled by V Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner UV Creations on a budget of Rs 300 crore. While Prabhas plays the male lead in this action entertainer, sharing screen space opposite him will be Shraddha Kapoor. The film’s star cast also includes Neil Nitin Mukesh, Lal, Arun Vijay, Mandira Bedi, Jackie Shroff, Vennela Kishore, Mahesh Manjrekar and Chunkey Pandey in supporting roles.

The technical crew of this film includes Shankar – Ehsaan – Loy for composing music with R Madhi cranking the camera and A Sreekar Prasad in charge of the editing.

It may be noted here that the teaser of the film was unveiled by Neil Nitin Mukesh a couple of months ago and showed a chase scene. This seems to be just a glimpse of the action sequences that fans will get to see in the magnum opus. Posting the teaser on Instagram, the actor had said: “SAAHO ....Its Showtime !!!@shraddhakapoor @tseries.official @uvcreationsofficial @evelyn_sharma #prabhas @sujeethsign”.
