Samantha is undoubtedly one of the most sought after heroines in the southern filmdom. With hits such as Kaththi, Theri, A...Aa and Janatha Garage to her credit, it's easy to assume that she might have several projects in the offing. However, she has turned down most offers and even walked out of Dhanush's Vada Chennai for reasons unknown.
Explaining why she hasn't accepted many offers, she wrote on her Twitter page: "“Realizing just how hard it is to get a meaningful role for a heroine in the south. “I haven't signed as many films as I’d like to because there are no good roles. As disheartening as it is to say."
Despite being offered Mahesh's project with Murugadoss and even the Telugu remake of Kaththi with Chiranjeevi, Samantha has been very choosy of late.
With five releases already this year, she has only one project with Sivakarthikeyan in her kitty. Sources say she has been turning down offers because she's planning to settle down after getting married to Naga Chaitanya.
