Sai Pallavi was the toast of the tinsel town with two back-to-back hits to her credit in Mollywood – Premam and Kali.

Following this, she moved over to the Telugu film industry with Fidaa. Her Midas touch seemingly continued there as well, with the film scoring it big at the box office.

With a slew of Telugu and Tamil films to her credit, her fans in Mollywood have been waiting eagerly for her comeback into their fold.

Well, this is bound to happen soon with Sai Pallavi’s Telugu debut movie Fidaa all set to be dubbed in Malayalam.

The film was directed by Shekhar Kammula and starred Varun Tej in the lead role. Incidentally, Shekhar Kammula’s Happy Days, which also dubbed in Malayalam, was a big hit in Kerala as well. This had prompted the makers of Fidaa to have its Malayalam-dubbed version released in that state.

Fidaa was a romantic comedy that starred Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi as the lead pair. It had a successful 50-day run at the box office and grossed about Rs. 90 crore.

Made on a budget of Rs. 13 crore, Fidaa was jointly produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.

The songs have been composed by Shakthi Kanth Karthick and the background score has been done by JB Vijay. C Kumar had cranked the camera for this flick, while Marthand K Venkatesh had edited the film.

It may be mentioned here that with just three films to her credit so far, Sai Pallavi had won scores of awards for her performance in Premam and Kali. She is currently working on MCA (Middle Class Abbayi) and Kanam in Telugu and Karu and Maari 2 in Tamil. All four films are in different stages of production.
