The News Minute | October 26, 2014 | 10.54 am ISTUnion railway minister D V Sadnanda Gowda has refuted allegations of having obtained wealth illegally.Gowda’s remarks come after the National Election Watch and Association for Democratic Reforms released a statement saying that the assets of three union ministers had increased during the five months that they had been in office. The other two are Defence Minister Arun Jaitley and Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprise Radhakrishnan P.The two groups had put together an analysis comparing the assets and liabilities declared in their election affidavits along with the details uploaded on the PMO website some time ago. Gowda's assets showed an increase of over Rs. 10 crore.Read: Three union ministers increase assets in five monthsResponding to allegations of ill-gotten wealth, Gowda said: “I’m clean, I haven’t done anything wrong.” He added that he had taken a loan from Federal Bank worth Rs 8.5 lakh and had even taken advances from others.
