Sachin asks fans to suggest name of movie, and we're swamped

The News Minute | March 4, 2015 | 06:55 pm IST Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar took to twitter a while ago to ask his fans to suggest titles for an upcoming documentary cum feature film on the iconic cricketer’s life. The film, already in production will have Sachin playing himself and is being produced by 200Not Out Films who’ve brought on board London based director James Erskine to direct the movie. As the submitted answers are inaccessible (to us), we scoured the Facebook page where people have already inundated the post with suggestions too.  “God of Cricket” and the “Little Master” as titles seem to be the consensus among most fans.  “Defining cricket” or a derivative to that effect also seems like a popular choice which wouldn’t seem so out of place considering the man did witness a lot of changes in the game.  There also seems to be a tendency to group “Little”, “Master”, “Legend”, “Unforgettable” in different permutations and combinations to come up with a solution. Some have decided to keep it simple and when the roars of “SACHIN, SACHIN”, went up, goose bumps did happen.  “From mister to master” is a suggestion which is almost reminiscent of a Brad Pitt movie in which he aged the wrong way.    “Playing it my way”, well, seems logical. Autobiography and movie should have the same name.  “Sachin... A path to world cricket”, a title blessed by globalization but doesn’t ring a taco bell so much. “I’MMORTAL” and “iSachin”. Well, we’re really not sure if Apple wants to get into the cloning business.  “taming infinity!? " : too much arrogant? ?... "the divine spark"... "the sachin gene”: Yes, one very confused/arrogant post.  Some, like the above, have also taken several turns in suggesting titles, not sure which one would be their choice either.
