The film was scheduled for release on August 11, but may postpone it, to avoid a box office clash.

Sources in Tollywood are rife with news that the release of LIE (Love Intelligence Enmity) may be postponed.

The film was scheduled for release on August 11 but with two other movies – the Rana Daggubati starrer Nene Raju Nene Mantri and Jaya Janaki Nayaka directed by Boyapati Srinu – scheduled for release on the same date, the makers of LIE are contemplating on averting a box office clash.

While reports suggest that a fresh release date may be announced in a few days, nothing can be confirmed until an official word is out.

August 11 is a hot favourite among filmmakers, as it is a long weekend and there would be a scramble to cash in on it.

Sources add that the makers of LIE are keen on a solo release.

Directed by Hanu Raghvapudi, the film stars Nithiin and Megha Akash as the lead pair with Arjun Sarja, Sri Ram, Ravi Kishan, Brahmaji, Prithviraj and Brahmanandam included in the star cast.

The film, made on a budget of about Rs 45 crore, is produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara under the banner 14 Reels Entertainment. Scoring the music for this flick is Mani Sharma with J. Yuvaraj cranking the camera and SR Shekhar editing it.

The film’s teaser was released a few weeks ago and has garnered the attention of the film buffs in a big way.

The dialogues, the stylish visuals and Nithiin’s new look have added to the expectation levels already.

With the producers pumping in a lot of money into the project and a major part of it being shot in various locations in the US, the team is keen on having a solo release.

Well, the release date will be announced shortly putting an end to all speculations.
