If sources are to be believed, the release date of the NTR starrer Jai Lava Kusa has been locked.
Sources say that the hero is keen on having the film released on September 1, 2017 to coincide with the first anniversary of Janatha Garage.
Janatha Garage, which was also released on September 1, 2016, turned out to be a massive hit in his career.
It was also a hat trick for NTR as his consecutive films, Temper, Nanakku Prematho and Janatha Garage turned out to be blockbusters at the box office.
Directed by KS Ravindra, Jai Lava Kusa will have NTR appearing in three different roles.
In fact, this is the first time the actor will be seen in a triple avatar. The film stars Rashi Khanna and Nivedha Thomas as the female leads.
Kannada star Duniya Vijay will be seen in a pivotal role in this flick. The film is produced by NTR’s brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under the banner NTR Arts.
Enquiries about the film revealed that NTR will be donning prosthetic make-up for one of the roles, that would make him look truly villainous.
The director has been working on special looks for each of the roles, and has employed the services of Hollywood artistes to zero in on the look.
Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for this flick, which has CK Muraleedharan cranking the camera.
The shooting of Jai Lava Kusa is happening at a brisk pace and is likely to go on for the next few months.
The release date is expected to be announced officially soon.
