As the BJP-led NDA government is inching closer towards celebrating a year in office on May 26, a post by Reddit user who has painstakingly listed out the numerous U-turn of the BJP government has gone viral. The thread started after one of the users posed questions to AAP supporters on a range of issues seeking to know why Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has not acted on promises made earlier. Following this, another Reddit user started a thread listing out 38 issues on which, according to him, the BJP has taken a U-turn. “Answer the following without making a joke, sidetracking or personal attack," the user challenged. He has demanded to know why the BJP had switched its stand on burning issues such as Netaji's documents, the land acquisition bill, bringing back black money or the net neutrality. Encouraging him further, some respondents have added to the list of U-turns made by the Narendra Modi government. However, there are several who have pointed out flaws in the arguments and have countered them by citing more links to different articles in a bid to justify the party’s stand. The Congress had come down heavily on BJP in December when it released a booklet called “Chhe Mahine Paar, U Turn Sarkar” (Six months after, U turn government) referring to the 25 U-turns BJP had made since it took charge.  "This government has made 25 U-turns in the last around 180 days. That's an average of one U-turn every seven to eight days,” Congress leader Ajay Maken was quoted by NDTV. Recently, the Congress party termed BJP as a “U-Turn” party once again after the latter tried to push the Goods and Services Tax Bill in the Lok Sabha.
