After his high-octane underwater action sequences for his tri-lingual film Ghazi, actor Rana Daggubati has started training for Baahubali 2, which he promises will be bigger and deadlier than the first installment.

Having lost weight for Ghazi, his submarine-based war film, where he essays the role a naval officer, Rana has been bulking up to reprise his role of Bhallala Deva in Baahubali 2, which has been on the floors since the beginning of the year.

Ask him what he has been doing to reshape his body and bulk up, and Rana says, "To gain fat you need to sit around and eat. But I needed to gain muscle, which is a difficult, scientific process. The hardest part is sticking to the routine of a strict diet and vigorous training for months in a disciplined way.”

He also adds that he finds losing weight easier than bulking up. “I had to just reduce my protein intake for Ghazi so my muscle size and weight dropped," he says.

The actor is also rumoured to be teaming up with Telugu filmmaker Teja for a new project, which will also star Kajal Aggarwal. However, he awaits a nod from filmmaker Rajamouli to start work on this yet-untitled film.
