Ramya Krishnan was one of the most popular heroines in the 1980s and her role in the Rajinikanth starrer Padaiyappa as Neelambari, was a high point in her career. The gorgeous actorâ€™s role in Baahubali: the Beginning and Baahubali: the Conclusion catapulted her to greater stardom.
Post Baahubali, she is being flooded with several offers and the latest was in the Suriya starrer Thaana Serntha Kootam in which she had a strong screen presence alongside the lead actor. The latest offer that she has landed is Super Deluxe in which she will be sharing screen space with Vijay Sethupathi.
One of the most anticipated films of the year, Super Deluxe will be directed by the National Award winning filmmaker Thiagarajan Kumararaja. The film has a strong star cast including Fahadh Faasil in a pivotal role with Samantha Akkineni playing the female lead.
Mysskin, Ramya Krishnan, Gayathrie and Bagavathi Perumal are also part of the cast and they will be playing important roles. Earlier, Nadhiya was roped in to play the role but it eventually went to Ramya Krishnan, say sources.
While the director has penned the story of Super Deluxe, the screenplay has been penned by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, with inputs from Mysskin, Nalan Kumarasamy, and Neelan K. Sekar. Yuvan Shankar is composing music for this flick with PS Vinod and Nirav Shah roped in crank the camera.
Sathyaraj Natarajan will be editing Super Deluxe. The teaser of the film turned out to be the talk of the town and upped the expectation levels. Moreover, Samanthaâ€™s character as Vaembu, shows the actor in a completely new avatar. With a talented actor like Ramya Krishnan being roped in for a pivotal role, Super Deluxe just got all the more interesting.
