Ram Pothineni and director Kishore Thummala came up with the romantic comedy Nenu Sailaja last year and the film went on to become a big hit. The same team has now come together for Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi. Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, who had produced Nenu Sailaja, will be bankrolling this venture under the banner Sri Sravanthi Movies. Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi will have Anupama Parameswaran and Megha Akash playing the female leads. Devi Sri Prasad has been signed up to compose the music for this film. The film also has Sree Vishnu playing an important role.
On the progress of this film, we hear that the team has completed 50% of the shooting already. Touted to be a romantic comedy, the Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi team is getting ready for its next schedule which is due to begin in the hill station Ooty from August 6. During this schedule, director Kishore Thummala will be canning a few vital portions in some exotic locales. While the title of the film has been revealed now, sources say that the team is working on releasing the first look soon.
According to the buzz around the film, it will be one of the landmark movies in Ram Pothineni’s career as the star and the director are trying to recreate the Nenu Sailaja magic on the silver screens.
Ram Pothineni made his debut as a hero with the movie Devadasu in 2006 which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. He has acted in a number of hit films since then including Ready, Kandireega, Pandaga Chesko, Shivam and Nenu Sailaja. His last release was Hyper last year, which was directed by Santosh Srinivas.
