Ram Charan’s Dhruva teaser has been well received.
In less than 40 hours since it was released online, the teaser has clocked over 2 million views, setting a new record among recent Telugu films.
The 50-second teaser gives us a quick glimpse of Ram Charan’s character and the spotlight falls on his makeover and physical transformation.
Ram, reportedly, shed a lot of weight by following a strict veggie diet, as was required to look leaner and muscular.
He even worked out rigorously to maintain a fit physique to essay an IPS officer.
An official remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan, the film also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Arvind Swami, reprising his own role of the antagonist from the original.
Originally slated to release for Dussehra, the film’s release had to be pushed to December, following Arvind Swami’s bad health, due to which he couldn’t complete his portion on time.
Produced by Geetha Arts, the film has music by Hip-Hop Tamizha duo, and it marks their debut in Tollywood.
