Mahesh Babu’s nephew, Ashok Galla, is all set for his entry into Tollywood with his acting debut. The youngster has inked a deal to star in a Sriram Aditya directorial. Nidhi Agarwal has been signed up to play the lead opposite Ashok in this untitled film.
The official pooja of the movie happened on Sunday, November 10, in Hyderabad, with film star and producer Ram Charan Teja sounding the first clap. Rana Daggubati switched on the camera while veteran actor Krishna, Mahesh Babu’s father, was presented with the script for his blessings. The regular shooting of this film, produced by Padamavathi Galla, will begin from Monday onwards. Reports say that the film will have Naresh, Satya and Archana Soundarya in supporting roles, with Ghibran signed up to score the tunes.
Mahesh Babu was not present for the muhurat as he was busy shooting for this upcoming film but he wished the team on Twitter. His message read: “It’s official !! @AshokGalla_'s first day of shoot !! Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for Sarileru Neekevvaru, which has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead. The film also has the veteran actor Vijayashanthi in a pivotal role with Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Rohini, Adhi Pinisetty and producer Bandla Ganesh in the star cast as well. Sarileru Neekevvaru, directed by Anil Ravipudi, is bankrolled jointly by Anil Sunkara, Dil Raju and Mahesh Babu under the banner AK Entertainments, Sri Venkateswara Creations, GMB Entertainment. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for this venture. The film is scheduled to hit the marquee for Sankranthi next year.
