Rakul Preet Singh had missed the opportunities to work with Mahesh Babu in Bhramotsavam and AR Murugadoss in Thuppaki.

She eventually went on to bag a role in Spyder which had Mahesh Babu playing the lead role and AR Murugadoss directing it.

However, the film did not do too well at the box office. Breaking her silence over Spyder’s failure at the box office at a recent film-related event, Rakul had said that she gives her best for every project that she is associated with, but some fail for certain reasons which are beyond her control.

Putting the failure aside, the actor is busy with her new films. Rakul Preet Singh is now upbeat about her upcoming film Theeran Adhigaram Ondru / Khakee. The film, directed by H Vinoth has Karthi playing the lead role with Rakul Preet as the female lead.

Touted to hit the silver screens on November 17, Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’s Telugu dubbed version Khakee will also be released on the same day. The film is bankrolled on a budget of Rs. 50 crore by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prakash under their banner Dream Warrior Pictures.

Ghibran has composed music for this flick with Sathyan Sooryan cranking the camera and Shivanandeeswaran editing it. The star cast of Theeran Adhigaram Ondru includes Abhimanyu Singh, Bose Venkat, Scarlett Mellish Wilson, Matthew Varghese, Rohit Pathak, Jameel Khan, Kishore Kadam and Surendar Thakur.

Rakul Preet Singh is one of the most wanted heroines in the Telugu film industry had four film releases this year so far with Khakee being the fifth. She made her debut in Kollywood way back in 2012 with Thadaiyara Thaakka and was later seen in Puthagam. She will be making a comeback to the Tamil film industry with Theeran Adhigarm Ondru after a gap of four years.
