Rakul Preet Singh is on a roll. After replacing Parineeti Chopra in Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film, she’s rumoured to have replaced Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Naga Chaitanya’s next with director Kalyan Krishna.
While Samantha was originally considered for the project, the makers wanted to pair Chaitanya with another actor. As Samantha has already worked with Chaitanya in three films, they felt that the Samantha-Chaitanya combination might not draw enough interest. As a result, Rakul is seriously being considered for the role.
Having had four releases this year, and having been a part of two blockbusters, Samantha is yet to sign a new project because she wants her next film to be bigger than “Their”, “24” and “A…Aa”, according to one of her latest Twitter updates. She even recently walked out of Dhanush’s “Vada Chennai” because the film is being split into a trilogy and she reportedly feels she can’t dedicate so much time to one project.
