The much-awaited Mahesh Babu starrer Spyder, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual helmed by AR Murugadoss, released on September 28 worldwide.
Mahesh Babu playing an intelligence officer, is paired up with Rakul Preet Singh in this spy thriller which also has SJ Suryah and Bharath in the star cast.
Meanwhile, ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth watched Spyder in a special screening.
Rajinikanth, who never misses an opportunity to praise worthy films, lauded the makers.
Speaking about the film, he said, “The film is very good. The film has a good message along with superb action part. Murugadoss handled the subject very well. Mahesh Babu gave an extraordinary performance. I congratulate entire unit of ‘Spyder’ for delivering such a superb film.”
The film marks Mahesh Babu’s Tamil debut and it has Harris Jayaraj's music, Santosh Sivan's cinematography, and A Sreekar Prasad's editing it.
After Spyder, Mahesh is currently working on his upcoming political movie, Bharath Ane Nenu directed by Koratala Siva.
