One of the biggest film projects right now in Tollywood is RRR, which apparently stands for Rama Raavana Rajyam. However, there is no official confirmation on this yet. Expectations are high on this film for various reasons including the fact that it is director SS Rajamouli’s first film after the massive Baahubali franchise. Also, the film has two of the most bankable stars in the Telugu film industry – Ram Charan Teja and Jr NTR.
The shooting of RRR commenced recently and reports are that the director has begun with an action sequence that will feature both the heroes. While Jr NTR will be sporting a bulky look with beard, Ram Charan will be seen with a completely different new hairstyle. A top hairstylist has been brought in to work on it. This definitely has the fans thrilled. Massive and extravagant sets have been erected for shooting the fight scene and it is progressing well. Meanwhile, the team is scouting for suitable heroines to pair up with the heroes.
RRR was announced last year amidst a lot of expectations and the lead star’s looks in the film have been worked out which will be the highlight of the film. The photo shoot of this film happened in the US a few months ago and now the director is busy with the shooting which went on to the floors recently.
On the technical crew roped in for the project, we hear that MM Keeravani is onboard to compose the tunes. Details about the rest of the star cast and crew are under wraps as of now. The director had made an announcement already that RRR will be a Sankaranthi 2020 release.
RRR is being bankrolled by DVV Dhanayya under his banner DVV Entertainments on a budget of Rs 300 crores.
