Actor-Producer Radikaa Sarathkumar who has been ruling the television kingdom for more than a decade as an actor and producer is all set to make her debut as a television host. The veteran actor will be hosting the Tamil version of Kaun Banega Crorepati becoming the first woman to do so.

The show has been titled Koteeswari which will be premiering on Colors Tamil channel. This will be the first time the actor would be collaboration in an another Tamil channel as she had earlier collaborated with Sun Tv for the past 25 years. Confirming her venture Radikaa tweeted "Happy to be the first woman to host the #KBC franchise on #Colorstamil #ColorsTv . Super excited to meet some fantasy women".

The same format of the show was previously aired on Vijay TV titled 'Nengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi'. The show had three seasons of which the first season was hosted by actor Suriya, the second was hosted by Prakash Raj and the third by Arvind Swami.

Last seen in Sivakarthikeyan's Mr Local directed by M Rajesh, Radikaa has a slew of films in the making. Sarathkumar and Radikaa Sarathkumar will be sharing the screen space for a movie titled Peranthal Parasakathi and the star cast also has Sarathkumar’s daughter Varalaxmi playing an important role.

The husband and wife duo are also busy with Vaanam Kottatum, which is being directed by ace director Mani Ratnam’s protégé, Dhana. The film is bankrolled by Mani Ratnam and A Subhaskaran under their respective banners Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions.

She also has director Saran’s upcoming film Market Raja MBBS starring Bigg Boss season 1 title winner Aarav. She also has Gautham Menon's long-pending directorial, Dhruva Natchathiram which has Vikram playing the lead role with Aishwarya Rajesh and Ritu Varma in important roles.
