Radhika Kumaraswamy is returning to the big screen with Kontract, directed by Sameer. Starring Arjun, JD Chakravarthy and Faizal Khan, the film features Radhika in a prominent role.
Radhika had staged a comeback with Sweety Nanna Jodi in 2013, which was produced by her home banner Shamika Enterprises. Later, she starred in Avatharam and Rudratandava which also did well at the box office.
Kontract, a trilingual made simultaneously in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu, is being directed and produced by Sameer. Subhash Anand is composing tunes for the flick, while Aamir Lal gets behind the camera and Govardhan takes the editing role. With one schedule of shooting completed in Kolhapur, the team is readying up for its next schedule.
Talking to Deccan Chronicle, Radhika denied rumours of quitting the film industry and said that she has been looking for good scripts. “I have several dream projects on my mind that I want to make into reality. It is just that I do not wish to announce them suddenly, and if some plans do not go well, my fans and well-wishers will be left disappointed. So, I prefer giving them a big surprise. In fact, I will soon announce something spectacular. Let it be a surprise for now,” she was quoted as saying.
