And now here’s some exciting news for his fans. The star has reportedly signed three new projects which will start rolling this year. Reports say that the first film, a Pavan Wadeyar directorial, will go on the floors on March 5. To be bankrolled by top producer Rockline Venkatesh, details about this untitled film are being kept under wraps for the time being and will be revealed officially soon.
While there are various speculations about the genre of the film, sources in the know say that it may be an action entertainer, a genre in which Pavan and Puneeth Rajkumar tasted success with Ranavikrama. On the star cast of this film, we hear that the team is in talks with yesteryear heroine Saroja Devi to play a pivotal role and if they get her nod, it will mark her comeback venture in Sandalwood.
Besides this Pavan Wadeyar directorial, Puneeth Rajkumar has a film with director Shashank, which is in the pre-production mode. Further, there are two more films in the pipeline – one with director Chethan Kumar and the other with director Santhosh Ananddram. Puneeth Rajkumar, is currently busy with the TV show Family Power for which he will continue to shoot until later this month.
The star, who kept all his film shooting assignments on hold after the release of Anjani Putra, will begin shooting for the Pavan Wadeyar directorial starting March 5, putting an end to all speculations about his future projects lined up for release this year.
