As the world mourned over the ISIS attack in Paris on Friday, which killed at least 120 people, a heroic feat by an ordinary man in Lebanon, went unnoticed by the mainstream media.
The Beirut suicide bombings, purportedly by the same terror group which claimed 43 innocent lives, gave birth to a hero who sacrificed his own life to save the lives of others.
Adel Termos, who was present in the open market area in the southern suburbia of Bourj al-Barajneh on the outskirts of the Lebanese capital on Thursday at the time of attack, made a split-second decision to tackle a suicide bomber. This resulted in the instant death of him and his young daughter along with that of the suicide bomber.
The militant was supposedly entering a crowded mosque nearby after the first suicide bomb blast.
Despite the lack of coverage by the mainstream media, Adel Termos’s heroics created a frenzy on Twitter and other social media platforms.

There were even campaigns to raise money for the brave heart’s family who is survived by his wife and another child.
