Well-known choreographer-filmmaker Prabhudheva and Hansika, who had previously worked together in Engeyum Kadhal and Bogan (which was produced by the former), are teaming up for the third time for a project rumoured to be titled Gulebakavali, and it will be directed by newcomer Karan.
Recently, Hansika posted a picture on her Twitter page and captioned it “some exciting news coming up. Any guesses?” She also shared a picture in which a man, believed to be Prabhudheva, is seen facing away from the camera.
While official confirmation is awaited, it has already been learnt that the project has been finalised and it will start rolling from July onwards. Prabhudheva made a comeback of sorts with horror-comedy Devi last year. While most thought it was a one-off project, he proved everybody wrong by signing a bevy of films in Tamil, including the multi-starrer Karuppu Raja Vella Raja which he will direct. He also has Devi sequel in his kitty. Apparently, he has also signed a yet-untitled project with a very promising young director but details about this film are heavily guarded.
Prabhudheva, according to sources close to him, is keen on expanding the base of his production house – Prabhudheva Studios - with strong, content-driven films.
