PM Modi to visit Hyderabad on November 12: Traffic restrictions announced

The PM will arrive at Begumpet airport around 1.30 pm. Following a public meeting, he will reach Ramagundam by air and dedicate the RFCL project to the nation.

In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hyderabad visit, the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) on Friday, November 11, issued a traffic advisory for Saturday, as moderate traffic congestion is expected on the roads leading to the Begumpet Airport, where the PM will be arriving. As per the advisory, commuters are advised to avoid the road stretch of Punjagutta - Green Lands – Prakash Nagar T Junction, Rasoolpura T Junction, CTO Junction, as well as the stretch from Somajiguda-  Monappa Island, Raj Bhavan Road and Khairatabad Junction between 12 pm and 7 pm on Saturday. 

According to the Telangana BJP unit, PM Modi will arrive at Begumpet airport in Hyderabad at 1.30 pm following the completion of the inauguration and foundation laying ceremony of several projects in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. 

The Prime Minister is expected to attend a public meeting around 1.40 pm in Hyderabad and will leave for Ramagundam from the Begumpet airport at 2.15 pm. On reaching Ramagundam he will take a chopper to Ramagundam Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) plant in Peddapalli district and dedicate the plant to the nation.

The railway line between Sathupally and Kothagudem, which will be used for the transportation of coal, is among the additional development projects in the state that the PM is anticipated to kick off. The PM will also lay the first stones for three national highway segments. This covers the sections of Bodan-Basar-Bhainsa, Sironcha-Mahadevpur, and Medchal-Siddipet-Elkathurthi.
