Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli’s wedding has been a much-talked about affair.

To the extent, Virat Kohli’s tweet about their wedding became the most retweeted tweet, becoming the coveted Golden Tweet.  

Virat and Anushka got married in Tuscany, Italy, on December 11 in a close family affair after a courtship of over four years. On December 21, they held a reception in New Delhi, which was attended by the likes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

They then hosted their second reception in Mumbai, on Tuesday, which was attended by stars from both the sporting world and the film world.

Celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Rekha and more were spotted at the reception.

The couple hosted their second reception at the St Regis' Astor Ballroom in Mumbai.

Anushka went old-school glam this time, with cascading curls pinned to the side and nude lips to go with the elegant vibe of her ensemble. She was wearing a Sabyasachi creation – a dull gold heavily embroidered and embellished lehenga teamed with a matching dupatta, cinched at the waist with a signature Sabyasachi tiger belt. She completed the heavy dress with simple studs on her ears, a diamond neck-piece and traditional choora.

Meanwhile, Virat wore a Raghavendra Rathore creation. He wore a navy velvet bandhgala paired with a pair of white pants and brown shoes.

Attendees also included people from the sports world. Chief selector Sandeep Patil, Saina Nehwal, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Virender Sehwag, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Hardik Pandya, Zaheer Khan, Jaydev Unadkat, Cheteshwar Pujara, Umesh Yadav were in attendance.

Bollywood wasn’t left too far behind either.

Bollywood bigwigs such as Rekha, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Kangana Ranaut, Prasoon Joshi, Anurag Kashyap, Lara Dutta, Ramesh Taurani, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sidharth Roy Kapur, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Boman Irani, Rajkumar Hirani, siblings Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, Dino Morea, Music Maestro AR Rahman were present.
