OnePlus 6T to launch in India on Oct 30, pre-bookings now open

OnePlus has been running a campaign over the speed of its next flagship, the OnePlus 6T and is now planning to hold an event in New Delhi on October 30 to mark the launch of the smartphone in India.

Those who wish to be part of the fanfare on October 30 will have to pay Rs 999 (redeemable when you buy the OnePlus 6T) to get an invite and apart from the opportunity to tryout the new phone at the event. As is the case with every OnePlus launch event, they may walk away with some goodies as gifts at the end of the event. There is a provision to live-stream the event as well.

Buyers intending to acquire this new smartphone can reserve their phones on Amazon.in with pre-booking starting on October 9 at 12 noon. Those to make the bookings are also assured of gifts like free Type-C Bullets Earphones. The ‘Notify me’ page for pre-registration of OnePlus 6T is live on Amazon.in, the exclusive online sales partner for OnePlus.

Apart from Amazon, one can do pre-bookings at Croma stores and OnePlus excusive retail outlets as well.  

“Ahead of the festival season, customers can buy an Amazon.in e-Gift Card worth INR 1,000 that can be redeemed to buy the OnePlus 6T, when the device goes live for open sale on 2nd November, 2018. Pre-Book customers will receive a pair of OnePlus’ all-new Type-C Bullets earphones, worth INR 1490 along with an additional INR 500 in the form of Amazon Pay Balance on completion of the purchaseof the OnePlus 6T,” OnePlus said in a statement.

Sale of the OnePlus 6T starts November 2 and Indian customers get to enjoy the phone along with or even ahead of many international customers.

On the “speed” part, the OnePlus 6T smartphone is expected to sport a latest Screen Unlock technology that enables you to unlock the device the fastest. Some of the other features include a 3700mAh battery and the provision to fast-charge the phone.
