With just days left to go for the polls in Kerala, candidates are doing all that it takes to woo voters.
After actors like Mammootty, it’s now the turn of Kerala’s most popular on-screen mothers — KPAC Lalitha and Kaviyoor Ponnamma — to hit the campaign trail.
While KPAC Lalitha came out in support of LDF candidate KB Ganesh Kumar in the Pathanapuram constituency, Kaviyoor Ponnamma campaigned in the Kunnamangalam segment for BJP candidate CK Padmanabhan.
During her speech, KPAC Lalitha expressed her happiness over Ganesh Kumar’s decision to join the LDF, and said that Ganesh Kumar has always been like a son to her. After the speech, she also took part in a few family meetings.
While speaking at the ‘Tamarayude kootukarikal’ (Friends of Lotus) event, Kaviyoor Ponnamma requested every person present at the event to cast their vote in favour of BJP. The event saw the participation of more than 100 women.
