Nokia has been invoking the nostalgia that many phone users have for some of the iconic models of mobile phones, mostly feature phones. It has now launched Nokia 8110 4G, which is primarily a feature phone with 4G connectivity enabled. The unique feature of this phone is the curved banana like shape.

The Nokia 8110 4G phone has a 2.45-inch display with a QVGA screen. The operating system is KaiOS and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 functions as the processor. 512MB is the RAM and all of 4GB is the internal storage. For people listening to 256GB storage and 8GB RAM, these figures might not seem low, but this device isn’t even competing at that level. One must hasten to add here that the storage can be taken further to 32 GB on the Nokia 8110 4G by inserting a microSD card with a maximum capacity of 32GB. A sole sensor at the back, of 2MP, forms the camera unit.

Again, the Nokia lovers are served with the ‘Snake’ game they would have played for hours with the old version. The 4G connectivity option makes the phone an attraction for those in transition from feature phones to smartphones. There is the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options as well.

A 1500mAh battery rounds up the specs for the new Nokia 8110 4G phone and according to the makers of the phone this battery is good enough to last a few days with a full charge.

The phone has a slider cover to reveal the keys and typing is quite easy with them. You can use 2 SIMs on this phone.

The Nokia 8110 4G goes on sale in India from today, October 25 and is priced at Rs 5,999. You can purchase online from or from offline stores. Apart from the yellow colour, there is a black colour variant as well.
