It is confirmed that Nivin Pauly’s upcoming film has been titled Kairali. Reports say that the film is based on historical events that happened in the 1970s and will focus mainly on the mysterious disappearance of Kerala’s first ship MV Kairali in 1979.

A period flick, Kairali will have Nivin Pauly playing the lead role and also producing it under his own banner Pauly Jr. Pictures along with Real Life Works.
