Director Vinu Joseph’s upcoming film Rosapoo, will have Biju Menon and Anjali playing the lead pair.

While this was disclosed a few weeks ago, the latest addition to the star cast will be Neeraj Madhav. Neeraj Madhav, on getting on board this project, posted on a social networking site, “Happy to announce that my next will be 'Rosapoo' starring Biju Menon and me in the lead roles with a wonderful star cast and an amazing crew. This fun flick will be directed by Vinu Joseph and Produced by Shibu Thameens. That's it for now and will post the further updates soon.”

It may be mentioned here that Neeraj Madhav’s inclusion to the star cast happened because Sunny Wayne walked out of the project citing date issues. Neeraj Madhav and Biju Menon have worked together in films such as Madhuranaranga and Kunjiramayanam and therefore share a good rapport.

Interestingly, they will also be sharing screen space in another movie titled Lava Kusha for which Neeraj is also the scriptwriter.

Speaking about Rosapoo, debut director Vinu Joseph had said that it is a comedy film which is based on the heroes’ struggles and that it will seem funny to others but not for them.

Revealing some details about the film, the director is reported to have told the Times of India earlier, “The film will have 142 characters who belong to different parts of Kerala. Hence, their slang and their appearance too will reflect Kerala's geography and culture. Alencier, Sudheer Karamana and Dileesh Pothan are also acting in the film and their roles will be unique, which we haven't seen so far.”

While Vinu is in-charge of the script, Santhosh Echikkanam has penned the dialogues. Rosapoo will be shot extensively in Kerala and Chennai, we hear.
