With an excellent line-up of films such as Imaikka Nodigal, Aramm, Kolayuthir Kaalam, Velaikkaran and a yet-untitled Telugu project with Balakrishna in her kitty this year, Nayanthara is making very interesting career choices and it comes as no surprise as she has taken full control of her career.
Recently, she signed a dark comedy titled Co Co, to be directed by debutant Nelson Dilip Kumar and bankrolled by Lyca Productions. With half a dozen projects in the offing, she is said to have given her nod to another project, to be helmed by Arivazhagan of Eeram and Kuttram 23 fame.
According to a Deccan Chronicle report, talks have been initiated with Nayanthara regarding the project. “It is true that Nayanthara has been approached for Arivazhagan’s script. Talks are underway, but nothing has been finalised yet. However, this is altogether a different project and not the untitled flick featuring Manju Warrier. Arivazhagan is hopeful about getting Nayanthara on board,” a source said.
Arivazhagan is expected to make an official announcement regarding this project in a few weeks. Meanwhile, he also has a project planned with GV Prakash Kumar and it’s in the final stages of getting materialised. It has to be seen which project he will go ahead with.
Nayanthara is currently shooting for her film with Balakrishna, with whom she has teamed up for the third time after Simhaa and Sri Rama Rajyam. She will also be seen in Malayalam film Love Action Drama, which also stars Nivin Pauly.
