One of the biggest announcements in Tollywood for the year is a multi-starrer that will have Nagarjuna and Nani playing the lead roles. There have been enough speculations already about the film where Nagarjuna plays a gangster while Nani will be seen as a doctor.

The 2003 Bollywood flick Munnabhai MBBS, starring Sanjay Dutt in the lead role, had the two main characters playing a gangster and doctor. Could this mean the Nag–Nani film will also be on similar lines? Well, for that we need to know more about what the filmmakers have in store.

Confirming about the upcoming project, Nagarjuna has been reported saying, “This new film that I am doing with Nani is very much in the Rajkumar Hirani territory. I play a gangster and Nani plays my doctor. It is a very warm-hearted funny script. And I’ve a feeling that director Sriram Adittya will make something special out of it.”

Having no qualms over teaming up with younger actors, Nag said that he has never felt threatened over sharing screen space with younger talents. The star is also looking forward to work again with his sons Akhil Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya. Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya shared screen space in Manam which had Akhil making a cameo appearance.
