Motorola has launched a new pair of earphones called the Verve Loop Sports Bluetooth in-ear headphones. The company has positioned the device to target sportspersons and people who do workouts and love to listen to some soothing music as they try to shed calories.
Though it may seem like just a pair of earphones, it comes with a number of features.
The significance of this lies in the IP54 certification the device has received for water and splash resistance. If you wear the Motorola Verve Loop Sports Bluetooth in-ear headphones and end up sweating a great deal donâ€™t worry; the device is safe and you can just clean it up.
The pack comes with three extra pairs of ear hooks. A special gel is also supplied to keep the earphones in place and permit disturbance free listening.
In terms of the features, the Motorola Verve Loop Sports Bluetooth in-ear headphones sport an advanced audio distribution profile (A2DP) and the facility to make hands-free voice calls.
The Wi-Fi pairing can be done through any device with different Oss, Android and iOS. The voice assistants SIRI and Google Now are also very much compatible with this headphone device from Motorola. To add to this, there is the dedicated app also Vervelife, which can be downloaded and used.
There is even the provision to pair two smartphones simultaneously and still stay connected and the listening range is up to 20 meters.
With regard to the battery, Motorola claims the device can last up to six hours on a full charge. Even a short 20-minute charge can extend the life to around one hour.
Coming to the price, in India, the Motorola Verve Loop Sports Bluetooth in-ear headphones will be available at Rs 2, 499.
