Mumbai-based EXIM bank has issued a notice to guarantor, Latha Rajinikanth asking her to repay an amount of over Rs. 22 crore along with interest and other liquidated damages. It also said that the bank's move to call upon guarantors Latha Rajinikanth and Dr. Devender CR to repay the loan when the borrowers were making necessary arrangements as 'not unwarranted'. Earlier in the first week of December, the superstar’s wife and Kochadaiyaan producer Dr J Murali Manohar were embroiled in another financial issue after a complaint was filed by a firm holding them responsible for cheating them of Rs. 10 crore after agreeing to provide them distribution rights of the movie in Tamil Nadu, reported Deccan Chronicle. In the complaint , the firm Ad Bureau Advertising Pvt Ltd said that Manohar, director of Mediaone Global Entertainment Ltd had sold the rights for the film to their agency which was guaranteed by Latha Rajinikanth.
