The News Minute | April 6, 2015 | 4:02 pm. IST Though the CB-CID has already put in jail SS Krishnamoorthy in jail after a summons last Saturday, nine more AIADMK men are to be picked up in connection with the suicide of TN senior engineer Muthukumarasamy. Agri Krishnamoorthy and Chief Engineer, Senthi Kumar are currently at a jail in Palayamkottam and a case has been filed against them. While the former minister has not made a move, Senthil Kumar has moved for a bail application. According to reports, Muthukumarasamy began to receive multiple calls on his cell phone, threatening his life, his family, his career, and his reputation. According to CB-CID enquiries, Senthil Kumar had pressurised Muthukumarasamy on orders from the former minister. Senior engineer Muthukumarasamy had committed suicide in February by stepping in front of a moving train over alleged pressure from the Agriculture minister and his colleagues in connection to appointments of lorry drivers. A family member had also earlier said that Muthukumarasamy received a number of phone calls from the department's Chief Engineer in the days leading to his death.
