Mohanlal is currently stationed in Australia where he is gearing up for the 'Mohanlal Star Nite' show to be held this month. The star’s fans in the country are excited to catch their idol in action in flesh and blood and he is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the fans are entertained thoroughly. Mohanlal is well known to be a good entertainer; be it in his films or stage shows. Therefore, there is no iota of doubt that the stat nite show will turn out to be a massive hit.

In fact, some of the videos from the practice sessions were released already online and has captured the attention of the film buffs. While Mohanlal had posted a video that shows him rendering the song Narumugaiye in Iruvar; now Prayaga Martin had posted a video on her Instagram page which shows her and Mohanlal shaking leg for the number Kudamulla Poovinum from the film Jwala. From the videos, it is evident that star nite will have the audiences thoroughly entertained.

Soon after wrapping this star nit show, Mohanlal will be returning to India and participate in the AMMA general body meeting to be held on June 22nd. During this general body meeting, there are high chances of the star being selected unanimously as its President.

On his acting assignments, he has Neerali lined up for release this month, starring Mohanlal in the lead and directed by Ajoy Varma.

His ambitious project Odiyan is currently into the post production mode and its release date will be announced later. Also, Mohanlal has Kayamkulam Kochunni lined up for release this year in which he has done an extended cameo. The film has Nivin Pauly playing the title role. There are also reports  that director Siddique has impressed Mohanlal with a strong storyline and the project has been titled Big Brother.
