Shruti Haasan, one of the judges for the Femina Stylista West competition, opened up about working with her father and the legendary actor Kamal Haasan in Sabash Kundu / Sabash Naidu. She had said that working with her dad was not only fun but also a learning experience. Shruti had been quoted as saying, “In Sabash Kundu working with papa (Kamal Haasan) was really fun because I learned a lot and its really memorable experience for me.”

On her upcoming film Yaara, she had said, “As far as Yaara is concerned, we are waiting for its release. It is still in post-production stage. I really had so much fun while shooting for that film. I really hope that people can see it soon.”

Sabhash Naidu is a trilingual made in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi simultaneously. The film’s shooting began early last year and has been progressing slowly due to various reasons. While maestro Ilayaraja has been roped in to compose music for this film, Jaya Krishna Gummadi will be cranking the camera and James Joseph will be doing the editing. Kamal Haasan plays the lead character in the film with the star cast also including Brahmanandam as Appa Rao (Tamil/Telugu versions) / Saurabh Shukla as Robin Roy (Hindi version), Shruti Haasan, Ramya Krishnan, Manu Narayan, Jason Shah, Pradeep Rawat, Vir Das, RJ Balaji, Vijaya Kumar, Arindam Roy, Anant Mahadevan and Saahil Prem.
