The News Minute | August 12, 2014 | 06:30 pm IST Juxiao, a giant panda, on July 29 gave birth to triplets at the Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, China. Since the animal has a low reproductive rate, the survival of the triplets is being touted as a miracle.  The newborn pandas are said to be the first known surviving panda triplets. Juxiao took four hours to deliver the cubs after which she was too exhausted to take care of them. They were then kept in incubators and are constantly being monitored. According to reports, Juxiao, after regaining her strength, has now started nursing her cubs. AFP recently uploaded a video on YouTube which shows the giant panda giving birth to the cubs, and of the cubs in the incubator.
