The News Minute | February 22, 2015 | 11.35 AM IST The Prime Minister’s pep talk in the radio on one of the Sundays every month under the label Mann Ki Baat seems to be helping the All India Radio fetch a lot of money. A ten second slot for advertisements before the start of the PM’s speech fetches the national radio broadcaster a sum of Rs. 2 lakh. In contrast, a same slot even during important cricket matches fetches only Rs. 10,000 to 15,000, the Economic Times reported. For the Mann Ki Baat speech on February 22, 105 seconds of the time for advertisements has been sold for Rs. 25 lakh. Broadcast of #mannkibaat #studentspecial on 22 February,2015 @ 8:00 pm.
