As Bollywood continues to be abuzz with the Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Ranaut spat, the latter’s ex-beau Adhyayan Suman has broken his silence about his tumultuous relationship with Kangana and the revelations are shocking indeed.
In a detailed interview to the DNA, Adhyayan Suman opened up about his “abusive” relationship with Kangana and expressed his sympathies with Hrithik Roshan. Insisting that he was not giving the interview as a publicity stunt but only to reveal what really happened, he said, “I feel like now, I have to speak for people to know the truth.”
The son of veteran Shekhar Suman and Alka was in a year-long relationship with the Himachal beauty. Among the shattering revelations he made in the interview, he talks extensively about the emotional turmoil and physical as well as verbal abuse he went through at Kangana’s hands. Apart from these allegations, Suman also said that he hoped Roshan’s ordeal would end soon.
However, Suman does not stop here. He alleges that Kangana also tried to use black magic on him when they were together -
“She had a small guest room in her apartment and she had covered it in black, including black curtains. There were some random statues of God, fire all around, some scary things (kept) puja. She asked me to chant some mantras, and locked me in. I was terrified. I didn’t do it and I came out and told her that I had,” he said, recounting one such incident.
He added that his Tarot reader told him that someone from a pahadi region was doing black magic on him. “I knew only one person back then, my girlfriend Kangana, who used to go to Himachal for certain pujas there,” he added.
Kangana also verbally abused his father and family in front of him for a variety of reasons for which Suman said he felt very guilty for having been a bad son to his parents. He elaborates that due to Kangana’s manipulative tendencies towards him and their precarious relationship, he was unstable in his career as well and began to drink a lot.
On her equation with Hrithik Roshan, Suman insisted that he never saw any interest from Roshan’s side –
“As a guy you can see it when there’s something brewing between two people especially when they are drinking and the masks come off. I never saw any feelings from his side. So, these stories about Kangana’s obsession with him had begun back then of her wanting to get him,” he said.
