The motion poster of Mammootty’s The Great Father went viral as soon as it was released online on January 31. Within three days of its release, it has managed to get 8,50,000 views with over 35,000 Likes on YouTube.
This means that it has surpassed the record created by Baahubali 2’s motion poster. For the record, Baahubali 2 managed to get 32,000 Likes which is far behind what the The Great Father has got.
Directed by Haneef Adeni, The Great Father has Mamootty, Sneha and Arya in the lead roles. The star cast also has Malavika Mohanan, Mia George, IM Vijayan and Manikandan Achari.
The film is produced jointly by Prithviraj, Shaji Natesan, Santhosh Sivan and Arya. According to sources, Arya will be playing the baddie in this flick. The film, belonging to the thriller revenge genre, is touted to be a summer release and is expected to hit the silver screens on March 30.
