Malayalam cinema's celebrated on-screen couple Dileep and Kavya Madhavan will be back on screen with ‘Valayar Paramasivam’. The movie is a sequel to the film ‘Runway’ directed by Joshiy, which was released in 2004.
Kavya was cast opposite Dileep in ‘Runway’, in which he was seen playing the role of Valayar Paramasivam, a smuggler. The sequel will see the team of director Joshiy, scriptwriters Siby K Thomas and Uday Krishna and the most sought-after couple in Malayalam cinema, reuniting after more than a decade.
Reports say that the star cast includes Harisree Asokan, Indrajith and Kaviyur Ponnamma, who adorned important characters in ‘Runway’.
The shooting of ‘Pinneyum’ directed by acclaimed filmmaker Adoor Gopalakarishnan, in which Dileep-Kavya are playing lead roles is scheduled to begin shooting in a few days. The last time the duo was cast opposite each other was in ‘Vellaripravinte Changathi’, released in 2011.
